We work with local communities living adjacent to protected areas in Uganda known to have the African golden cat; Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Ongo Community Private Forest, Kasyoha-Kitomi Central Forest Reserve, Bugoma Central Forest Reserve, Budongo Central Forest Reserve, Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve, Echuya Central Forest Reserve, Kibale National Park, Mpanga Central Forest Reserve, Wambabya Central Forest Reserve, Maramagambo Central Forest Reserve, Semuliki National Park, Rwenzori Mountain National Park, Mountain Elgon National Park.
We work with local people living at the frontline of protected areas which African golden cats call home. Our longterm esteemed partners include the Institute of Tropical Forest Conservation, Uganda Wildlife Authority, National Forestry Authority, and the Small Wild cat Conservation Foundation.
